What is it?

eRead Illinois is a collection of e-books and audiobooks available using the Boundless app from Baker and Taylor. It is facilitated by the Reaching Across Illinois Libraries (RAILS) System. The collection includes fiction, nonfiction, young adult, children's books, books and audiobooks in Spanish, and more. You can access this collection via an app or in your browser. Your tagged and borrowed items will sync across devices.

How to access via the library catalog

E-books and audiobooks in the eReads Illinois collection will appear in the library catalog with all our other materials. The "eReadIllinois via Boundless" link is in the "View Online" section. Clicking on this link will open the Boundless app in your browser. If you're not already logged in, you'll follow the instructions for logging in (attached below).

Navigate to the eReads Illinois collection in your browser and follow the instructions for logging in (attached below).

How to access via mobile app

The Boundless app is available for both Android and Apple devices. Install the appropriate app and then follow the instructions for logging in (attached below).
