What is the library doing for National Library Week and De-Stress Week (May 2023)?

The Cullom-Davis Library at Bradley University is celebrating National Library Week (April 23-29) and De-Stress Week (May 1-5).

National Library Week

Wednesday, April 26th is National Library Outreach Day. From 1-3 pm, the library will be hosting an ice cream social with lawn games near the entrance to the library. (The lawn games are weather dependent.) Come get an ice cream treat and enjoy a game. 

De-Stress Week

May 1st starts the library's De-stress Week to align with the end of the semester and the beginning of finals week and the library has activities planned throughout the week.

Monday, May 1

• Take and Make Craft- Friendship Bracelets. We will have friendship bracelet making kits with all the supplies and directions for making a friendship bracelet in Bradley colors.
• Custom Button Making. Stop by the library to make your own custom button (with a pin back) with our button making press. 

Tuesday, May 2:

• Take and Make Craft- Friendship Bracelets. We will have friendship bracelet making kits with all the supplies and directions for making a friendship bracelet in Bradley colors. (Available until all kits are taken)

Wednesday, May 3

• Snack Bags. Take a treat bag to fuel your studying. (Available until all bags are taken)
• Squishies. De-stress with your very own squishy. (Available until all squishes are taken. Shape and color may vary.)
• Custom Button Making. Stop by the library to make your own custom button (with a pin back) with our button making press.
• Therapy dogs. Come pet and cuddle with therapy dogs in the library from 2-4 pm.

Thursday, May 4

• Take and Make- May the 4th be with You! Take a Star Wars-themed papercraft project. 
• Snack Bags. Take a treat bag to fuel your studying. (Available until all bags are taken)
• Squishies. De-stress with your very own squishy. (Available until all squishes are taken. Shape and color may vary.)

Friday, May 5
